The etched and routered graphics on the panel can all be changed to suit individual requirements as can the photographs in the sliding tiles – instead of wildlife signs/tracks you could change to animal or creature silhouettes, the GRP tiles can be changed to suit a wetland habitat or for a meadow habitat (please ask for a quote for specialist habitat artwork)
The unit is mounted on 2 x 100mm square ‘green’ oak legs; the display panel is in kiln dried oak 20mm thick with marine ply backing board, the panel is secured in place with 2 powder-coated steel fixings with coach-bolts and nylon bolts. The board is delivered semi-assembled for easy installation. Some annual maintenance maybe required to help keep the lectern in best condition.

The panels are an eye-catching, cost effective way of raising awareness of the different kinds of wildlife in the environment where the board or panel is situated. A great teaching aid which can help generate children’s interest in the natural world around them and assist with areas of the National Curriculum. The artwork is A1 size (840 x 595mm) and fits any of our interpretation boards and panels.
Each of the layouts is divided into three ‘habitat’ sections, for example; Wetland Habitat – ‘What lives here’…’in the water’, ‘on the water’ and ‘on the bank’. The wildlife illustrations and photographs are all interchangeable depending on the animals that live in that specific part of the country, making them more accurate to the particular area. We have large wildlife illustration and photography libraries which we use to customize each panel as necessary.
All you need to do is send a list of the various animals in the different sections, allowing for a similar amount as shown, or you can keep the layout as it is. A little information about the area/site and an aerial view or site map and we’ll do the rest – please contact us for a quote. The series is ongoing and new habitats are being added regularly.
*The graphics can also be printed and laminated onto 10mm Foamex board for use in the classroom or ideal for field trips.
